Michael is responsible for developing new business in the US market and providing innovative solutions to clients.
Prior to this promotion in 2019, Michael as Chief Strategy Officer was responsible for SCOR’s business strategy in the Americas as well as the growth and operations for business in the Latin American markets. He has played key leadership role in key divisional initiatives such as client centricity, purpose exploration, and implementation of wellness pilots.
He began his career with the company (then Transamerica Reinsurance) in 1995, working in Product Consulting & Development, International and US life reinsurance. Michael has played a key role in the success of our life business and in maintaining the company’s leadership position in the life reinsurance market. Before joining the company, he worked as a consultant for Tillinghast.
Michael graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where he received a bachelor of science degree in mathematics
