Sean, who joined the company in 2019 with 20 years of experience, is responsible for all actuarial valuation and modelling functions within US and Canada. This includes IFRS reporting, Solvency II and other capital management initiatives. His prior experience includes work with direct writers, actuarial software vendors and consultancies.
Sean completed his undergraduate degree with honors in actuarial math at the University of Manitoba and earned a master's degree in finance at the University of Minnesota. He chairs the SOA’s technology section for 2018-19 and is a regular speaker at various actuarial and risk conferences.
