In his current role, Jean-Francois is responsible for helping insurance companies and pension plan of the Americas de-risk through purchase of longevity swap transactions. He oversees all aspects of business development including pricing and executing transactions.
Prior to joining the company in 2017, Jean-Francois developed deep understanding of the annuity market and pension plans context during his tenure as the Pricing lead of the Group Savings and Retirement annuity department at one of the largest Canadian insurance companies.
Jean-Francois earned a bachelor's degree in actuarial studies at Universite Laval. He is a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries and a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries as well as an active volunteer leader supporting United Way.
