George is responsible for identifying, structuring, pricing and executing inforce transactions for term and permanent individual life business currently being retained by US clients.
Prior to his promotion in 2020, George worked in the FInancial Solutions department as a marketing actuary. He understands not only a client’s goals for using reinsurance but how reinsurance solutions are best incorporated into the way they do business. George's market knowledge, technical expertise and collaboration with SCOR colleagues supported successful development of competitive and profitable mortality and financing solutions for our clients. His experience with direct writers contributes to his insight of what clients need to be successful. He has worked in a variety of life and annuity business lines for direct writers.
George earned a bachelor of science degree in mathematics and computer science at Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario. He currently serves on the SOA Reinsurance Council and is a frequent presenter at industry meetings on topics discussing mortality trends, the term life market and pricing implications.
