Von Peterson is the Vice President, Sales & Marketing of the Group Reinsurance team. He is responsible for managing sales, marketing, and relationships with clients and distributors for Group Life & Accident products.

Von brings 18 years of experience in group insurance at Securian Financial Group. He established the Group Client Relationships department at Securian and built an industry leading team in client service, persistency and sales. In 2009, Von took over leadership of Securian's Group Insurance Division, a position he held until 2016. Under his leadership, Group Insurance became Securian's largest division in terms of revenue and earnings and rose to be the 3rd largest group life insurance writer in the U.S.
