As Pricing Actuary for Group Life & Accident products, Tom works closely with in-force clients, prospective clients and brokers to develop financial arrangements that meet client objectives for the transfer of risk at an efficient cost. Tom also focuses on R&D projects that reflect SCOR’s unique capabilities and add value for SCOR Group Life & Accident clients.
Prior to joining SCOR in 2018, Tom spent more than 20 years with Nationwide Financial in Columbus, Ohio, where he held a variety of positions, including financial reporting and analysis for variable life products and strategic analysis for group products. Tom later helped lead the pricing team for individual products and co-pioneered Nationwide’s highly successful entry into the corporate-owned life insurance (COLI) market. He enjoys the challenge of structuring programs that accomplish client objectives and uses his understanding of the group and corporate markets to assure win-win propositions.
